Went to watch "Ninja Assassin" with my colleague, lucky us got last-minute seats, right at the front row haha... It's good, and Rain did quite a good job. The bloodshed was a bit cartoon-ish, slightly similar to movies like "Sin City" and "The Spirit". A lot of action, though, which is good. The storyline is simple and there were some parts where humour was instilled, and suited the mood. Rain's acting was actually very humble, he wasn't as overrated as most actors. Even though he's a singer, his acting skills don't go unnoticed. I'm surprised that this movie did not receive much hype (maybe due to the fact that "New Moon" overshadowed its release), but I think this movie is enjoyable, worth catching at the movies. However, to compare it to "The Matrix Trilogy" (just because of the same production people) is way over, as the effects didn't come close to "The Matrix".
